In Scandinavia the day is reserved for the serving of a particular sweet pastry. It’s French expression is known as Mardi Gras and it marks the end of the celebration of Epiphany and the transition to the season of Lent with its tradition of fasting and self denial. Before we ‘give something up for Lent’ we celebrate and feast on Fat Tuesday.
You’re invited to celebrate with Living Joy and people around the world as we gather for some fine sweets and delectable finger food at The Landing at Charlie’s on Prior from 6:00- 7:30 pm on Tuesday March 5th. We’ll provide the food. Pop, coffee, water, juice, beer, and wine will be available for purchase. Join in the global celebration as the church seasons change!
